on-call planning services + environmental support

Since 2014, M-Group has been in contract with the City of Palo Alto providing a variety of on-call planning services, environmental review, and historic evaluations. M-Group provides the City of Palo Alto with supplemental planning staff ranging from Principal Planners to Assistant Planners. The M-Group team acts as an extension of staff and integrates seamlessly to provide these services.

M-Group acts as project managers for discretionary review of single-family design review, development review of multi-family, commercial, hospitality, office projects and city-sponsored projects. Recent past projects include comprehensive plan amendments, zoning amendments, architectural review, subdivision maps, variances, and conditional use permits. M-Group ensures the projects are consistent with adopted policies and regulations. M-Group prepares staff reports and presents at the Historic Resources Board, Architectural Review Board, Planning Commission and City Council.
